The practice
RasRatna offers noninvasive, nonsurgical answers. Herbs, oil therapies, diet, and Panchakarma are used the classical way — after the person is understood, not before.
Non-surgical
Herbs, oil, diet, and Panchakarma before anyone is sent toward an operation.
Personal
Constitution, digestion, and daily rhythm decide the plan.
Preventive
Fewer flare-ups, quieter days, and less reliance on last-resort procedures.
Departments
Pranavaha
Cough, congestion, and long-standing lung complaints supported with herbs, steam, and pranayama.
Agni
Acidity, IBS, appetite, and bloating — care begins by restoring digestive fire rather than silencing symptoms.
Hridaya
Blood pressure and Dr. Dhage’s Natural Bypass Therapy — a non-surgical approach to supporting blood flow.
Sandhigata
Pain, stiffness, and nerve irritation approached with oils, poultices, and Panchakarma — not as a quick painkiller.
Yakrit
Fatty liver, hepatitis support, and enlarged liver — bitter herbs, diet, and detoxification where suitable.
Vata
Migraine, Parkinson’s support, and neurological complaints with herbs, shirodhara, and daily rhythm.
Twak
Psoriasis, eczema, allergies, and hair fall treated from the blood and the gut, not only the surface.
Stri Roga
PCOD, fibroids, and fertility care through hormonal balance, diet, and non-surgical herbal therapy.
Signature care
Dr. Dhage’s NBT is a non-surgical approach to heart blockages, aimed at supporting blood flow without an operation. Acknowledged at the Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad in Colombo in 2012, and honoured with the Panacea International Excellency Award the same year.
Planned only after consultation. Chest pain, collapse, or sudden breathlessness is an emergency — go to a hospital.
Panchakarma
Panchakarma means five actions: a planned purification, not a spa menu. Used when the body is ready, and skipped when it is not.
01
Kapha
Therapeutic emesis. After careful oleation and steam, controlled emesis is used when heaviness, mucus, and congestion dominate — selected asthma patterns, certain skin diseases, and kapha obesity among them.
02
Pitta
Therapeutic purgation. A measured purge to clear heat from the liver, blood, skin, and small intestine. Often the karma of choice in pitta disorders once the body has been prepared.
03
Vata
Medicated enema. The principal treatment for Vata. Medicated oils or decoctions are introduced rectally in a planned course for pain, sciatica, dryness, and neurological strain.
04
Head
Nasal therapy. Medicated oil or powder through the nose for sinusitis, migraine, cervical stiffness, and complaints seated above the collarbone.
05
Rakta
Bloodletting. A classical fifth karma, used sparingly when impure blood drives certain skin and pitta diseases. It is never routine, and only after the physician decides it is appropriate.
01
Preparation. Oleation and sweating loosen ama and guide it toward the channel that will clear it.
02
The main action — one of the five, chosen for the dosha and the strength of the person.
03
Aftercare. A gradual diet, rest, and rasayana so digestion returns before ordinary life does.
